Hoistway Configuration

The EECO Home Elevator system is available in either a Machine Room Less (MRL) or Hydraulic configuration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The following illustrates the available hoistway configurations for the EECO Home Elevator.
  • Model types: I = In-line, P = Pass-through (front and rear), 9 = 90°, IO = In-line, opposite tower.
  • To determine tower location and door strike, view from lowest landing looking into hoistway.

Hoistway Design for in-line models

  • ILL = In-line opening, left hand tower, left hand strike.
  • ILR = In-line opening, left hand tower, right hand strike (non-standard, field wiring required).
  • IRR = In-line opening, right hand tower, right hand strike.
  • IRL = In-line opening, right hand tower, left hand strike(non-standard, field wiring required).

Hoistway Design for pass-thru models

  • PLL = Pass-through openings, left hand tower, left hand strike.
  • PLR = Pass-through openings, left hand tower, right hand strike(non-standard, field wiring required).
  • PRR = Pass-through openings, right hand tower, right hand strike.
  • PRL = Pass-through openings, right hand tower, left hand strike(non-standard, field wiring required).
  • *Important:Front and Rear openings must be chosen at order entry. Recommendations, Front should be the sie with maximum traffic/use. The cab operator panel (COP) will always be located on the front opening side of rail center and on the guide tower side of cab.
