Elevator Models

EECO Home offers four elevator models based upon their drive systems: MRL, Roped Hydraulic, and Chained Hydraulic, and LULA.

The MRL is a geared machine with counterweight chain drive system. With the machine and controller mounted at the top of the modular rail tower system there is no need for a separate machine room. Using magnets for each landing the EECO Home MRL unit is designed for 2 way leveling for a comfortable ride and stop. All our units are equipped with complete safety in mind as well as battery lowering in case of power failure, standard.
The cost-effective EECO Home Roped Hydraulic Elevator is designed for applications with up to 50′ maximum travel. This above ground model is ideal for installation in existing homes as it doesn’t require drilling.
Our Chained Hydraulic Elevator utilizes a Modular Tower Design and features ease of installation including Plug-n-Play connections. It features a 40′ maximum travel and has the lowest overhead requirement among our elevators.
The EECO Home LULA Elevator can be used in churches, schools, libraries, small businesses, multi-family housing and other buildings, where permitted by state and local code. It is the product of years of experience and research combined to provide you with the affordable solution to your accessibility needs.

Exclusive Features

Cab Design

Of all the nouveau finishes that are being offered on the market today we have chosen as standard options Brushed Stainless Steel and Brushed Brass. Other Offerings available are Mirrored Stainless, Mirrored Brass and Oil Rubbed Brass as options to match any decor, which will fit into almost every elevator design selection. The finishing process of each finish provides excellent resistance to wear in the most aggressive wear environments.

The hall buttons stations are designed with a dual LED push button and a “Car Here” indicator. When the floor button is pushed at any floor a Halo light illuminates around the button and the in-use light also illuminates until the elevator reaches its destination. Should the elevator be at the location of the pushed hall button then the door will unlock and the light on the push button will go turn off.

The car operation panel (or car station) provides a button for each floor in addition to a red Stop Switch and a Black Light switch (both are toggles switches). When entering the elevator and the doors are closed an occupant will push their desired location and the floor number will illuminate. One of the Standard features of the EECO Home Car Station is an emergency light located at the top of the station so (in the case of a power outage) the elevator will have some illumination enough to see. Finally, located at the bottom of the car operating panel is an emergency call button to sound an alarm bell in any emergency.

The EECO Home Elevator Personnel will be glad to help with design finishes.

Our Power Gate Operator is a proven product that provides a user-friendly, dependable and cost effective means of automating accordion gates used in residential and L.U.L.A. Elevators. It has passed an accelerated life test of 25 years of normal residential uses(100,000 cycles).

Features and Benefits

  • Two-speed, bi-directional gate operation.
  • Accommodates a variety of control signals.
  • Auto-close option enabled via a user setting.
  • Micro-switch slow downs and limits.
  • Magnetic coupling of gate to operator.
Your EECO Home Elevator can include optional stainless steel two-speed doors that deliver a sophisticated modern look.

Our optional commercial grade US manufactured Swing Door Operator automates the opening and closing of your EECO Home Elevator Swing Door. Each sub-assembly is individually tested prior to final assembly, and each finished operator is load-tested several times prior to shipping. Gearhead motors are run-in several hundred cycles to insure smooth and quiet cycling. These beefy, 10lb DC motors and precision cut all-steel gears housed in cast and machined aluminum gearboxes, are custom manufactured to our specifications.

Our door opener unlatches a locked door, opens it smoothly and quietly, and depending on program will hold for a user-determined time, then will return and close the door, compressing the weather seal tightly to insure latching and restoring security. Another program (standard and most commonly chosen) will hold the door open indefinitely until the user signals it to close. There are a variety of wireless door openers, wireless remotes, wall plates (wireless and wired), keypad, and customized transmitters designed to match the user’s ability.

Elevator Safety

Residential elevators are becoming a standard feature found in any home. Home elevators are technically advanced machines and come equipped with extensive safety and backup systems.

There is a comprehensive set of codes that regulate residential elevators in North America. They are defined through a joint effort between the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This set of rules is referred to as Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators – Private Residence Elevators (ASME 17.1 /CSA B44, Section 5.3).

We strongly believe in and are actively committed to the overall safety of the private residence elevator industry. Not all local jurisdictions enforce the codes mentioned above but here at EECO Home Elevator we ensure that every home elevator meets these codes.
